Genevieve Blaise

My name is Genevieve Blaise. My pronouns are she/they. I am a practicing theater artist, writer, and educator in the NYC, NJ, and Philadelphia area.

In 2023, I graduated with a Master's degree from NYU Steinhardt for Educational Theater in Colleges and Communities.

From 2017-2021, I served NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a staff member in the dance department. In that time I earned three artistic staff grants and the 2020 M-U-S-E residency for my work with my co-founded dance and theater company Idyll Shift. 

I am currently accepting students for individualized acting instruction in audition preparation, including college pre-screens and virtual/in-person auditions. 

I am also working on building my voice acting skills and embarking on the (exciting) journey to increase my knowledge in stage combat and stage intimacy work.

For those interested in acting coaching with me, I currently offer virtual and in-person sessions. 

I offer in-person sessions at Jane Ericksen Vocal Studio in Hamilton, NJ. To schedule a session or if you have any questions, please email info@genevieveblaise.com. I am currently only scheduling sessions through email.

I am also currently offering monthly Acting for Singers Workshops at JEVS for the singer who wants to get more out of their performances.
